As you may have noticed I’m attempting to post something on the blog every day to keep things interesting and fun and connect to that great vast cyber landscape that we can’t see or smell or feel, but it’s out there… waiting to be entertained.

So with that, I present Five Friday Faves For Fun ( aka 5Fs). Which will be a combination of stuff I think is fun, useful, informative and a favorite that may benefit you as a bride, groom, bridesmaid, groomsmen (if a groomsmen is actually reading this, let me know and you get a special surprise!) or photographer. So basically anyone.

Here we go!

1. Get Married - http://www.getmarried.com/

Get Married is a half hour program that airs every morning at 7:30am on the Lifetime Channel (48) here in the bay area. The show features a ton of tips and ideas on how to create a breathtaking, stunning event. They highlight dress designers, cake masters, photographers, venues, destination weddings and so much more. I tivo it every day and watch a bunch of episodes all at once when I have a day off. Thier website is amazingly organized and fun. Love love love it.

2. Flickr Moo Stickers - http://moo.com/products/stickers.php

These handy dandy stickers come 90 to a pack and can be completely custom designed or you can choose any one of the designs they offer. I use them with my logo for correspondence and other fun stuff. For 9.99 for a pack of 90 that is a great deal and who doesn’t love stickers??

3. Ta Da To Do Lists - http://tadalist.com/

I’ve been using this website for almost a year now and I love it. It is an online to do list generator that helps you keep your lists organized and it’s Free! I love its simple interface and easy to navigate set up. Very useful, friendly, and fun!

4. iTunes Radio – www.itunes.com

Almost everyone I know has itunes on their computer to either listen to music while working on the computer or to load up their iPod. Well I just discovered that they have a section called “radio” with at least a few hundred or so online and sometimes local radio stations that you can listen to right on your computer without downloading anything else.

When I’m in the middle of editing a wedding, a little classical music helps to clear the mind and focus. There is even a link to the Bay Area radio station Alice 97.3 under the pop section. I love that!

5. Bloglines – http://bloglines.com

RSS feeds have been around forever. And to be honest up until a year ago, I had no clue what the heck they were. One day I’m clicking my links of photo blog inspirations wishing I could figure out when someone had new content and not waste time clicking through every single link. Well duh! RSS feeds. So I signed up for bloglines which I can access from any computer and loaded it up with everything from wedding blogs, to technology blogs, to movie blogs, to home décor and even css layout blogs. You can even download a little bloglines notify to let you know when there is a new post.

There’s nothing sadder when you find a new blog and try to add the RSS feed only to find out its not set up. I end up missing any new posts they have for a long time and that bums me out. So if you have a blog and are reading this, activate the RSS feed if you haven’t already and let me know your URL.

Well that wraps up this week’s Five Friday Faves For Fun. I hope you enjoyed it! Let me know what you think!

Naturally yours,

Juliet
