I wanted to give everyone a heads up about what’s going on with Juliet Nicole Photography.

First, the website is receiving some updates to reflect my twitter status, my new Senior Graduates section and some other goodness.

In a couple weeks I will be heading to NYC for a wedding. A few days after I get back my mom goes in for her 2^nd knee replacement. I will be handling her convalescence as well as taking over her duties in her own business.

Current clients and already scheduled appointments and photo shoots will take place as scheduled. New clients and new meetings will be on a limited basis. Meaning if you are a new client, or a previous client and want to book a session in Nov and December, please contact me now for available dates and times.

Weddings

I will be taking a limited number of weddings in May/June/July due to a scheduled surgery for my daughter in the summer. She’ll undergo open heart surgery to replace a valve that she received during her first open heart surgery 9 years ago when she was 4 days old. She’s doing great now, the doctors just need to upgrade her valve so she won’t need any more surgeries in the future.

Although I was going to share this news when the time came closer, but due to the growing inquires for my services, I want to be fair to everyone and give ample time to make decisions.

The exact date of the surgery will be determined in the Spring.

Holiday Photo Sessions and Cards

For families wishing to book a holiday session, I will be taking on 15 families between the weeks of Nov 11^th to Dec 5^th

The deadline for any orders from these sessions will be Dec 10^th.

Albums

Any wedding couples wishing to complete their album before the Holiday, needs to be give final approval and pay any balance by Nov 5^th. No exceptions.

Seniors

Senior Graduate sessions are available until Nov 30^th and then that’s it till 2009 when I will start offering sessions again in Mid January. So if you want your session before the new year. Call/email me today.

Hello Internet,

How have you been? I’ve been well. I’ve been spending the last few days of summer with my ever so lovely daughter. We spent Saturday at the beach with 30 of our closest friends and half of the state of California. Very few images taken because I promised Nikki more face time without a camera lens between us : )

The next six weeks are going to be a whirlwind of sorts but I’m loving it. I’ve been so excited about the business side of photography as much as the opportunities to meet and photograph amazing people and families. I’m ramping up for “Seniorpoluza” (what i call senior sessions, so don’t steal it! :P)and will be introducing a slew of products to entice and blow your socks off. So get ready.

I’m steady moving back over to film and can’t wait to share the results with some upcoming sessions. And I can’t wait to get back into the darkroom again and create some hand printed fiber prints. Its such an ethereal thing to see your image appear on paper under water. Ahhh… ok.. I won’t start waxing poetic romanticism about the medium and art, but you get the idea.
